Why have you signed up for the rally?
To raise a stake of cash for charity and to have an adventure of a lifetime (most probably one of those stories where at the time it may not be great, but looking back on it will be funny as hell….?)
What are you most looking forward to?
This is my first rear wheel drive car so I’m looking forward to power sliding this baby around the sharp mountain roads!! Looking at the Northern lights through our sun roof while we try and catch some shut eye. Possibly being woken up in the morning by fellow SnowDodger teams rolling our car over while we sleep in it…… :oD
If you were a biscuit, which would you be?
I am torn between the classic McVities Digestive and the classy Shortbread…….I’m going to have to go with old faithful Digestives as I get through a pack a week (I can give them up at any time, I just choose not to…).

She brings a smile to my face eveytime I look at her. It warms my heart to know how close we’re going to get…….

This is by far the most adventurous vehicle going…. I am looking forward to seeing it bounce along those Russian roads!

I just read the rally guide. it’s starting to sink in now just how ‘adventurous’ this vehicle is going to be. It’s bad enough dodging pot holes with effectively 2 wheels (as the rear wheels tend to follow the front wheel path), we have to dodge pot holes with the middle wheel as well.

At extremely low temperatures fibre glass tends to act a little bit like glass (i.e. becoming very brital). If we hit a particularly bad pot hole, and the temperture is low enough we run the risk of either falling through the bottow of the fibre glass body, or the body simply shattering around us!!

At least all the boarder guards will be laughing at it so much we’ll probably just get waved through………

Surely it’s got potential for a yellow paint job?

It looks like a toy car in this picture.

The car might look like it had some attitude if it weren’t for that ponce on top, instead it just looks like it is slowly sinking, oh wait, it is slowly sinking……. :S

Look out for ‘Westline Comms Ltd’ on Mikes car - we’re a sponsor! (Oh, yes, and I’m Mike’s father-in-law as well. Er… did I really say it would be okay forhim to marry my daughter???) GOOD LUCK MATE!!!

Mike, you must be mad. I fear for your safety everyday, and it’s not good in my delicate state! Just the seen the route on the map for the first time…are you sure Miss Piggy can get that far?!
Your imminent niecephew will probably be dubbed Hog Lumps in your honour! Great to hear from you though, good luck and chin up :)

I am amazed That the “piggy” has got so far. Drop an egg in the radiator to fix the water pump leak (old wives tale)!

Loads of people watching your exploits, quite inspirational.

Keep up the good work hog-lumps.

Guys! You’re great! I saw this cute baby passing by in the town of Kursk, must have been on your way to Voronezh, and I was so f**in amazed by this car with British number plates, in the middle of Russia, I though I was going crazy!
You’ve done very well, my congratulations! *2 thumbs up*
